Erasmus charter ENIL Mamirolle
Erasmus Charter for Higher Education and policy statement
Code Erasmus F MAMIROL02
The ENIL of Mamirolle is an institution dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (MAA), whose specificity is to provide training in the field of dairy and cheese processing, biotechnological analyses and water management, at a BTSA -BTEC HND- level (STA, ANABIOTEC, GEMEAU). In partnership with other Higher Education institutions, such as the University of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, the CNAM of Franche-Comté, AgroSup Dijon, the IUT of Sète-Montpellier or the ENSAIA of Nancy, but also with the ENILbio of Poligny, it offers professional studies for bachelor's or master's degrees. Very anchored in its rural territory and the PDO (Product Designation of Origin) Comté cheese sector, but also in the professional world at local, national and international level, it brings its expertise in food production or water management, R&D, technology transfer, employee training or student training.
Since obtaining the Erasmus + Charter in 2015, it has been developing and strongly encouraging academic or traineeship mobility for students and staff training in Europe, in order to reach a full international dimension, a strategic axis engraved in its institution project. Its 3 training courses benefit from traineeship mobility, one from academic mobility. Almost all categories of staff (teachers, technicians, and management) have had access to the Erasmus + program.
Within the framework of the new charter and in coherence with the national plan "Equal opportunities" and its label “Equality-diversity”, it wishes to reinforce the access to the mobilities of all the learners, school- or apprentices, culturally or socially disadvantaged, with disabilities, rural or city dwellers, men or women ..., but also of all the staff who so wish, including administrative agents, in order to jointly advance towards the same goal. It also wishes to gradually develop the academic mobility of students in the fields not yet concerned by the semi-annualisation of BTSA (STA and GEMEAU), with the support of MAA, which supported it in the experimentation with BTSA ANABIOTEC. Its structure around the Erasmus + projects already carried out has enabled it to forge new partnerships with Higher Education institutions and companies in the sectors linked to training. They will be developed and reinforced between 2021 and 2027, thanks to the help of the Erasmus + referents of the MAA, the involved staff of the Enilbio Poligny and the European structures already partners, by relying on Erasmus + or associated networks and online tools. The modernisation of its administrative functioning, to streamline mobilities and exchanges with partners, will be accelerated, in particular with the more systematic implementation of secure digitisation, in connection with the advance of MAA information systems and tools linked to the Erasmus WP program.
In an international context of withdrawal, it also wishes to develop belonging to European identity and openness to others. Increasing the reception of international students and the number of students who have experienced mobility will make it possible to develop actions and projects to raise awareness of this subject, in situ or through collaborative online exchange. The systemisation, in the long term, of the use of all the Europass tools and the European Student Card should further strengthen this belonging.
Finally, ENIL is fully committed to developing training projects and actions that take the environment into account: professional and / or academic experience in managing the PDO or local food product chains, in innovative management of water or effluents, in water and energy saving, in waste management, dimensions also taken into account in an axis of the institution project and supported by the MAA or local communities (“Teaching to produce differently”, “Agenda 21”…).
