Who is this training course for ?
- • By Apprenticeship (2 year course): people between 16 and 25 years old who have a Level 1 or 2 National Vocational Qualification (CAP)/BTEC First Diploma in Business or Technology (BEP), or who have completed their Year 10 education.
- • Full-time course, for salaried employees and job seekers who are at least 18 years old and who have :
- a Level 1 or 2 National Vocational Qualification (CAP)/BTEC First Diploma in Business or Technology (BEP) or who have completed their Year 10 education;
- and one year of professional experience in the food industry or 3 years in any professional sector.
This training course is accessible to salaried employees as part of their contract or a period of professionalisation, or a CIF (Individual Training Leave).
What is the goal of this course ?
BTEC First Diploma in FOOD INDUSTRIES
- This course aims to train people in the technologies of producing and packaging food products. The BP IA course allows people to develop skills in hygiene, safety, quality and environment. This course allows people to work in a team and ensure coordination between operators on the same production line.
Which professional openings does this course lead into ?
- Qualified production worker (cheeses and dairy products, ice creams, fresh-cut and dried meats, breadmaking, patisserie, biscuits, sweets…);
- Automated production line operator, automated installation operator.
How is this course organised ?
- two-year training course, with 19 weeks per year of school training; the remainder of the time is dedicated to professional
Training in enterprises, supported by the apprenticeship manager or the tutor.
Remark: the training in the centre is composed of lessons, practical work and tutored work and visits to enterprises
